Travel Expert Discloses Unauthorized Access to Internal Systems

-- Travel Expert (Asia) Enterprises (HKG:1235) said it discovered unauthorized access to certain internal servers and storage systems, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The travel services provider said affected data may include customer orders, operational records, and employee files, pending confirmation by independent cybersecurity experts.

The company added that its credit card operations are handled by third-party processors and banks, with no risk of card information leakage.

Travel Expert has reported the incident to Hong Kong authorities and engaged cybersecurity experts to investigate, while activating business continuity measures to maintain operations.

The group said the incident has not had a significant impact on its business so far, and operations remain stable.

Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) unveiled a hood-integrated induction cooktop under its Infinite premium appliance line, the electronics products maker said in a Wednesday release.The product comes with a centrally built-in hood that removes smoke and odors from below, along with a heat output of up to 7,400W across all burners.It comes in Satin Black and is priced at 4.79 million won, the release said.Shares of Samsung Electronics fell nearly 1% in recent trade.
