-- Axelspace Holdings (TYO:402A) said its unit has signed a basic agreement with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency to explore in-orbit demonstration services for spacecraft propulsion, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The agreement covers potential use of Axelspace's "AxelLiner Laboratory" to support JAXA's research and orbital experiments, with the project expected to run for about four years starting fiscal 2026.
The company said the initiative could contribute to earnings over the period, with a formal contract expected to be finalized in the coming months.
