Ameriprise Financial Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise

-- Ameriprise Financial (AMP) reported Q1 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $11.26 per diluted share, up from $9.50 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $10.21.

Revenue in the quarter ended March 31 rose to $4.89 billion from $4.48 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.72 billion.

Ameriprise shares fell 1.2% in after-hours trading.
