Jasa Kita to Acquire KT System for MYR10 Million; Shares Rally 15%

-- Jasa Kita (KLSE:JASKITA) plans to acquire a 100% stake in KT System for 10 million ringgit, according to a Tuesday Malaysian bourse filing.

Shares jumped 15% in Wednesday's midday trade.

KT System provides electrical engineering services including testing, commissioning and maintenance for transmission and distribution networks across Malaysia.

The deal, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026, will be funded mainly through internal funds and forms part of the group's strategy to diversify into power and utilities infrastructure, it said.
