Kforce Q1 Earnings, Revenue Rise; Shares Gain After Hours

-- Kforce (KFRC) reported Q1 earnings late Monday of $0.46 per diluted share, up from $0.45 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.40.

Revenue for the three months ended March 31 was $330.4 million, compared with $330 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $329.3 million.

The company expects Q2 EPS of $0.67 to $0.75 on revenue of $344 million to $352 million. Analysts expect $0.60 and $335.6 million, respectively.

The company maintained its quarterly dividend of $0.40 a share, payable June 26 to stockholders of record June 12.

Kforce shares rose over 16% in after-hours trading.
