Lunnon Metals Delivers Over 38,000 Tonnes of Ore From Western Australia Gold Mine; Shares Up 4%

-- Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) moved over 250,000 bank cubic meters (BCM) of material at the Lady Herial gold mine in Western Australia to the end of March, enabling the delivery of 38,287 tonnes at 1.56 grams per tonne grade of gold for 1,752 ounces to the mine ore pad, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The stockpiles now await formal joint certification before St Ives Gold Mining collects them for processing under their ore purchase agreement, the filing said.

Mining operations are progressing well despite wet weather in March, still in line with the schedule from the feasibility study, per the filing.

Lunnon Metals shares rose 4% in morning trade on Friday.

Midea's Q1 Profit Rises 2%, Revenue Climbs 3%

Midea's (SHE:000333, HKG:0300) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter rose 2% to 12.7 billion yuan from 12.4 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong filing on Thursday.Earnings per share increased 3.7% year on year to 1.69 yuan from 1.63 yuan. Current EPS beat Visible Alpha's estimate of 1.65 yuan.Operating revenue was 131.1 billion yuan, 2.6% higher than 127.8 billion yuan in the previous year and higher than VA analysts' forecast of 131 billion yuan.
