-- Australia's Viva Energy said on Monday that it will complete the repair work at its Geelong Refinery in about six weeks, following a fire at the facility in April, according to a Reuters report.
The country's largest refinery, with a capacity of 120,000 barrels per day, is expected to restart its residue catalytic cracking unit in June following the prolonged outage, during a period of persistent fuel shortages due to supply disruptions linked to the war in Iran.
"Production is expected to increase to over 90% of capacity following the restart of the RCCU," Viva Energy said in a statement on Monday.
Viva Energy did not immediately respond to' request for a comment on this story.
