Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Climbs to Fiscal Q4 Profit

-- Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (NSE:TTML, BOM:532371) booked a net profit of 5.81 billion rupees in fiscal fourth quarter from a loss of 3.06 billion Indian rupees a year earlier, according to a Thursday Indian bourse filing.

Earnings per share during the quarter ended March 31 came in at 2.97 rupees, compared with a loss per share of 1.57 rupees a year earlier.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 fell to 2.96 billion rupees from 3.08 billion rupees, the filing said.

Shares of the company were down over 1% at market close on Friday.
