Temple & Webster Says CEO Mark Coulter to Become Executive Chair, Susie Sugden Named Next CEO

-- Temple & Webster (ASX:TPW) said co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mark Coulter will transition to the role of executive chair, with Susie Sugden appointed as the company's next CEO, effective July 1, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Sugden is a former Temple & Webster executive who most recently served as chief executive of Love To Dream, a global sleepwear brand operating in more than 40 countries, the filing added.

Singapore's Core Inflation Rises Faster in March

Singapore's core inflation, which excludes the cost of accommodation and private transport, rose 1.7% year on year in March from 1.4% in the previous month, according to a joint release by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Ministry of Trade and Industry on Thursday.The headline consumer price index, representing overall inflation, climbed 1.8% year on year in the month, due to higher transport and core inflation.On a month-on-month basis, core inflation inched up 0.1%, while overall inflation was up 0.5%.Core inflation and overall inflation are currently projected to average 1.5% to 2.5% in 2026, the report said.

Larsen & Toubro (NSE:LT, BOM:500510), through its buildings and factories business vertical, has secured "significant" orders, worth 10 billion Indian rupees to 25 billion rupees, in India, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.The company has bagged an order from Oberoi Realty (NSE:OBEROIRLTY, BOM:53327) to construct seven high-rise residential towers in Gurugram, India.The business vertical received an order to build a proving ground from an international company in Haryana. The facility will be aimed at boosting testing infrastructure for vehicles embedded with the latest technology.The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
